Physical Fitness
The Royal Canadian Air Cadet program strives to encourage healthy lifestyles to Canadian youth. Throughout the training year, our squadron holds multiple sport days. These days range from typical sport style games to high adventure style events such as mountain biking through the river valley. The events chosen are different each year, so there are many active adventures to be had throughout a cadets career.
In addition to these sports days, interested cadets can apply for 3 week or 6 week training over the summer months specializing in fitness and sports. These courses help shape them into strong and knowledgeable fitness instructors so they can help lead the sports days throughout the training year.
Cadets who enjoy this aspect of our program can try out for the Black Knights biathlon team where they will practice their cardio and daisy air riffle shooting, ultimetly competing against other squadrons in biatholon competitions.
